A police officer on Guam has been arrested and charged over the murder of another police officer on Monday night.

A police spokesperson told the Pacific Daily News that 38-year-old Elbert Piolo died in hospital on Monday morning after an apprent shooting in his home.
Detectives later arrested a fellow officer, 20-year-old Mark Anthony Torre Junior, on suspicion of murder.
Police have refused to comment further on the incident, but the department has launched an internal investigation in conjuction with the criminal investigation.
