A fatal house fire in the Christchurch suburb of Hornby last week is not being treated as suspicious.
The fire broke out in the Dickson Crescent house early Wednesdaty afternoon.
The person who died has been named as 53-year-old Corrina Angelique Smith, known as Angie to friends and family.
Police say a scene examination is complete, but the specific cause of the fire is still being investigated.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at this difficult time."
Initial investigations suggest the fire was accidental.
