Two people have been charged over an incident in Taranaki last night which left a man with cut or slash marks to his neck.
Police said it happened when a person confronted a group of people doing burnouts in the Everett Rd area south of Waitara.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and a 17-year-old woman has been charged with being an accessory after the fact.
They both appeared in the New Plymouth District Court today and were bailed to reappear on 1 March.
