Auckland's water provider says people continue to reduce their water use after heavy rain last week clogged the city's main treatment plant with silt.
A spokesperson for Watercare said 391 million litres of water was used yesterday, well under the target of 400 million litres.
People were urged to conserve water after heavy rains last week dirtied the water from the Hunua storage dams, causing the Ardmore Water Treatment Plant to take longer to treat it.
