New Zealand golfer Danny Lee has rocketed into contention with a superb third round at the latest event on the PGA Tour.
Lee has fired a bogey-free five-under par round of 67 to climb into a tie for seventh with five others at the Canadian Open, five shots behind leading American Dustin Johnson.
The 28-year-old New Zealander had earlier carded back-to-back sub 70 rounds, and was at seven under for the tournament at the halfway stage.
It wasn't such good news for fellow New Zealander Lydia Ko, who missed the cut for just the sixth time in her career at the Scottish Open.
The 21-year-old shot a one over 72 to finish three over for two rounds, two shots outside the cut and a whopping 16 shots behind the 36-hole leader Tiffany Oh.
