Suspended students at a Fiji high school are expected to meet with their new principal this week.
The Education Ministry sent home 16 students at Ratu Kadavulevu School after they boycotted classes over differences with their principal last month.
The ministry was also forced to close the school for a week as a result of the protest by about 100 students.
On Tuesday, schools reopened for Term Three and a senior education official was now acting as the principal of RKS.
Education Minister, Rosy Akbar said students involved in the alleged protest would undergo counselling and meet the new school principal as part of their re-integration process.
Akbar said the former principal was transferred to another school after a request for relocation was approved by the ministry.
