The 44-year-old Christchurch businessman was jailed for 21 months in June in the Christchurch District Court for distributing the live-streamed video of 15 March attacks.

The Court of Appeal confirmed to RNZ that Arps launched a second appeal today.

Arps' first appeal was denied in August after the Crown accused him of sending letters of a violent nature from prison.

The self-professed white supremacist's appeal is set down for hearing on 18 November in Wellington.
