A police car was rammed during a pursuit in Levin on Friday morning.
Police say they received a number of complaints about a vehicle being driven around Levin. When they tried to stop the driver, the police car was rammed and badly damaged.
Another patrol car pursued the vehicle, but the chase had to be abandoned.
A Levin man, 19, was later located. He faces a number of driving charges.
