There will be "significant disruption" to some healthcare this week with two nationwide strikes planned, Te Whatu Ora / Health New Zealand says.
Junior doctors are set to walk off the job again for two days, starting Thursday, while NZ Blood service workers are downing tools for half a day.
Blood service workers collect and process blood components used for things like surgery or to help chemotherapy patients.
Their strike follows other industrial action starting Wednesday, including refusing to process certain products.
Junior doctors are still locked in talks with their bosses.
Te Whatu Ora head clinician Richard Sullivan said some operations will be postponed but emergency departments will stay open.
