Police in Samoa are questioning two men over a violent brawl and alleged cybercrime offences on Savaii over the weekend.
Superintendent Auapa'au Logoitino Filipo said the two men in their twenties had not been charged but said they were being held in police custody.
He said Salelavalu village leaders brought the pair in on Tuesday and said the root of the offences seem to stem from an argument during an alcohol drinking session.
The two are alleged to have appeared in videos that were posted on social media.
In one of the videos, a man has a gun to his head and is beaten up while another video shows youth destroying property at the Salelologa market.
A family home at Saletagaloa was also burned down.
The man who was beaten in one of the videos has now been discharged from hospital.
At the time of the unrest 50 police officers from Upolu were sent to help restore law and order and 11 of them have remained in Savaii.
