Two people have been charged following a shooting in Christchurch.

Police were called to a property on Cranford Street in the suburb of Redwood late last night.
One person was treated for a minor gunshot wound at Christchurch Hospital.
A 39-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman are due to appear at the Christchurch District Court today in relation to the shooting.
Police will also be conducting a scene examination at the Cranford Street property today.
