Illegal drugs abandoned on aircraft in Samoa

The police in Samoa are investigating after a plastic bag

containing the illegal drug, methamphetamine, was left behind on a

Polynesian Blue aircraft which arrived at Faleolo International

airport.

The police say the plastic bag was found on a passenger seat by one of the flight attendants during a clean up before the next flight.

The police stationed at Faleolo airport say the police drug squad made a search of the aircraft using dogs but no further information

is available until the investigation is completed
