Police in Samoa have been given more time to complete their investigation and finalise charges against the controversial claimant to the country's paramount Malietoa title.
The district court has adjourned a case against Faamausili Moli Malietoa until next year relating to the possession and use of a firearm.
The charges relate to an incident at Fa'amausili's village of Fagali'i where a gun was discharged.
Fa'amausili Moli Malietoa is also facing contempt of court charges over the bestowal of the paramount Malietoa title.
