The next steps to be taken over whether the Auditor-General is fit to remain in the job will be decided in a Parliamentary Committee this afternoon.

MPs have received a report that assesses whether Martin Matthews is fit to remain in the job and also Mr Matthews' response to it.
An Officers of Parliament committee meeting will discuss the report about 4pm this afternoon.
Mr Matthews stood down as Auditor-General in May after the revelation of details of a fraud that took place while he was in charge at the Ministry of Transport.
A senior manager there at the time, Joanne Harrison, stole nearly three quarters of a million dollars over several years, despite staff repeatedly raising concerns about her with Mr Matthews.
Harrison was sentenced to more than three and a half years in prison in February for stealing nearly $750,000.
New Zealand diplomat Sir Maarten Wevers was commissioned by Parliament to review Mr Matthews' appointment as Auditor-General.
While politicians have now received the report and will meet to discuss their response, its contents have not yet been made public.
