New Zealand are the biggest movers up the world football rankings after going unbeaten through their three group matches at the World Cup.

The All Whites have risen 24 places to 54th in the world, with the world champions Spain returning to the top of the FIFA rankings.

The beaten finalists in South Africa, the Netherlands, leapfrogged Brazil to take second place Brazil, and making up the top six are Germany, Argentina and Uruguay.

Despite a disappointing World Cup, England moved up one place to seventh, Italy slumped to 11th, and France dropped out of the top 20.
