41 year old former All Black Ma's Nonu has re-signed with the San Diego Legion for this year's Major League Rugby competition.

The two time World Cup winner played 103 tests for New Zealand.

He headed to France after the 2015 World Cup playing for Toulon where he spent six seasons before signing with San Diego in 2020.

The Legion is coached by former All Black halfback Danny Lee.

"We are thrilled to have Ma'a back... Ma'a had a major influence on our team last season on and off the field and was a major factor in us having a very successful season, playing in the MLR final and us breaking Club and League records along the way," said Lee.
