The Samoa government proposed road traffic bill has finally been tabled in Parliament by the Minister of Works, Transport, and Infrastructure, Tuisugaletaua Sofara Aveau.

The legislation is seeking approval by the House for the road transport system in the country to be changed from using the current left hand drive to right hand drive vehicles.

The speaker, Tolofuaivalelei Falemoe, says debate over the bill will start in three days after the second reading.

The petitions by people who against the proposal were rejected by a Parliamentary committee.
