Commuters in Auckland are facing delays to services this evening.

Southern and Eastern lines are operating at a reduced frequency after a track fault.

All Eastern Line services between Ōtāhuhu and Manukau were earlier cancelled after a track fault but were now operating as normal to and from Manukau.

This morning a KiwiRail track issue near Britomart meant all Western Line services were cancelled between Britomart and Newmarket.

Minor delays were expected as the Western Line services returned to normal.
