A New Zealand software maker has been selected by the American firm AMD to showcase its new computer chip.

Palmerston North based firm Unlimited Reality is producing touch computing software that runs on PCs and tablets.

Its product, called Fingertapps, includes applications to manage and edit photos, social media browsing, and a range of games.

Unlimited Realities vice president of marketing and business development, Ben Wilde, says AMD's launch has given it an audience it wouldn't have otherwise attracted so quickly.
