The Northern Marianas has one new case of Covid-19 after a 57-year-old man tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Governor's Covid-19 Taskforce said the new case brought the CNMI's total count to 14.
The latest patient was in stable condition and was being closely monitored by medical teams of the Commonwealth Health Care Corporation.
The corporation said the new case was confirmed at its laboratory using a newly acquired testing device.
The CNMI used to get its test results from Guam.
As of 17 April, the CNMI had submitted 62 specimens for testing to Guam.
