Dr Kate Taylor is a sexual health doctor who works in schools helping teenagers deal with a range of issues they face.
At the coalface she's tackling problems our youth are having with sexual health, pornography, consent, eating disorders and their mental health.
She says many parents would be surprised at the kind of things their kids are seeing via their lap tops and smart phones, in particular, porn. "People think it is only certain boys of certain ages. Numbers are startling - kids at a young age are watching it - we're talking intermediate, early high school years. I think it's like 80 percent of all boys 15-16 years.. while it's skewed towards to boys - substantial amounts of girls are also doing this".
She would like to see all schools teach relationship skills and consent - especially when it comes to parties and when both parties are drunk. "What we see a lot with the boys is they aren't thinking 'I'm going to rape a girl' - boys don't understand that to have sex with someone who's incapacitated is rape. These young people are all victims at a certain level, and we need to be teaching these young people about keeping themselves safe"
