Ukainian Kiwi disappointed by updated refugee policy

Parents and wider family members will be able to join Ukrainians in New Zealand under a new policy covering about 4000 people. Immigration Minister Kris Faafoi said yesterday the policy will enable an estimated 1600 Ukrainian-born New Zealand citizens and residents to sponsor parents, grandparents, siblings or children and their immediate family to shelter in New Zealand. But, as we're sure many of you can relate to, families often aren't quite that easy to define. Kate Nesmyelova is a Ukrainian-born New Zealand citizen and she spoke with Nathan Rarere.
