Hundreds of people in Samoa are expected to attend the state funeral of the late Member of the Council of Deputies Faumuina Anapapa.
It includes a delegation from the American Samoan government.
Faumuina Anapapa will be taken to the parliament building today where he will Lie-in-State for two hours before a final church service and then to his burial at his home in Lepea village.
The former Member of Parliament was appointed as member of the council of deputies in June 2002.
He died on June the 3rd.
He was 63.
All flags are flown at half-mast and a public holiday is being observed.
