A motorcyclist has been charged with failing to stop for police, after a road worker was hit and injured in central Auckland.
Two motorcyclists fled from police about 9am today.
The pair drove through two red lights on Fanshawe Street, before one hit a road worker at the intersection of Customs Street West.
The road worker has moderate injuries and the motorcyclist minor injuries.
The second rider escaped.
