A truck driver has died after his vehicle rolled on State Highway 35, near Tokomaru Bay.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 6.40am.
Police said the truck rolled down a bank between Mata Road and Kaiawha Road.
They confirmed the driver died.
The road was closed at the crash site and motorists were asked to use alternative routes.
