Continued expansion into the Middle East and a restructure of Burger Fuel's New Zealand business has lifted the company's profit.
The burger franchise's profit rose 37% to $308,000 for the six months to the end of September, compared with the same period last year.
Its underlying profit more than doubled to $454,000 and total operating revenue rose by 10% to $5.3 million.
Burger Fuel chairman Peter Brook says the focus for the year has been on expansion in the Middle East and a re-shaping of the New Zealand business.
