Papua New Guinea's Court of Disputed Returns has accepted the results of the court-ordered recount for the general election result in the Usino/Bundi Open seat and declared the incumbent Anton Yagama as the duly elected MP.
The Post Courier reports the decision was handed down by Madang Resident Justice David Cannings.
The court ordered recount had been ordered by Justice Cannings early this year after hearing an election petition which had been filed by Madang Businessman Peter Yama challenging Mr Yagama's win in the 2012 National General Elections.
