A body recovered from Lake Wānaka, near Waterfall Creek, this morning has been identified.
Police earlier asked for help to identify the body, described as a Caucasian male likely to be in his 20s.
They were wearing a light blue sweatshirt, dark grey chino jeans and white tennis shoes.
Police said they would like to thank the public for their aid.
