One Year On - The government says it wants to end homelessness - is this a realistic goal, or a pipe dream?
Ken has slept on Auckland's streets for the majority of his life and struggles to see that ever changing.
"I would not mind a beautiful house and all that sort of stuff, it's just that I've adapted to this atmosphere," he said.
"This is how I am."
In the final episode of our webseries Beyond the Beehive, reporter Max Towle and cameraman Luke McPake explore the government's commitment to tackling New Zealand's homelessness crisis.

As well as meeting Ken, Max and Luke visit the Auckland City Mission, which recently received its own funding bump.
The mission is currently redeveloping its central city location to help those most in need.
