Basin Reserve flyover plans on show

14:53 pm on 24 November 2012

People in Wellington will be able to take a detailed look this weekend at plans for a flyover near the Basin Reserve.

The $90 million flyover is part of plans to deal with traffic congestion around the reserve, but has been criticised as an eyesore that will detract from the cricket ground.

The Transport Agency says design work on the flyover can be viewed on Saturday and Sunday at Saint Joseph's Church.

Experts involved in the plan will also be on hand to explain their design.
