More than a year after Cyclone Pam tore through Vanuatu, a number of schools are still being forced to use tent classrooms.
The Daily Post newspaper reported that on Tanna the Presbyterian College was still using a tent as one of its classrooms.
The school said the Minister of Education, Jean Pierre Nirua, had promised to build four new classrooms for the college and they were still waiting for the central government to deliver.
At Kwataparen School in South Tanna the principal says a double classroom block, which lost all of its roof, is still waiting for repairs to take place.
The government says it's in the process of assessing all the damage before confirming how many classrooms in Tanna and the whole of Tafea Province need new roofs.
