A large fire at a manufacturing building overnight in Matamata is being investigated.

Emergency services were called to a blaze at Viking Kayaks on Firth Street just after 9pm last night.
Ten fire trucks had attended the scene and fire crews had the blaze under control by 10pm, and fully-extinguished by 1am.
Fire investigators were at the scene this morning.
