Samoa's old courthouse, which is one of the country's most historic buildings, is set to be demolished and replaced with a hotel.
The German-designed building is almost 120-years-old and has borne witness to some key periods in Samoa's history, including the country's struggle for independence.
However, Samoa's Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi says the building is riddled with termites and has been condemned.
Amelia Langford reports.
