Police in Tauranga say a teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed and a young woman suffered a head injury at a house in Matapihi.
Police were called to the house about 11.30am on Thursday and found an man, 18, unemployed shortly after midday.
Sergeant Craig Madden says he will appear in the Tauranga District Court on Friday on two charges of assault and another of threatening to kill.
