Police have recovered a body from a car in the Mangaokewa Stream in King Country.
Emergency services were called to Rangitoto Road, east of Te Kuiti at about 10.30am today.
The vehicle was partially submerged in the stream.
Police are working to identify the body and inquires are continuing.
