You'll know her name, whether from your own bookcase or from the library - Joy Cowley is one of the country's most prolific and successful writers. She's best known for the incredible "Mrs Wishy-Washy" series of kids books and is the author of countless others.
Now Joy has been named in the New Year Honours list, bestowed with the top recognition, the Order of New Zealand.
