Europe's triumphant Ryder Cup team will be reunited on home soil for the first time when all 12 players and captain Jose Maria Olazabal compete in next month's PGA Championship at Wentworth.

The world number two Rory McIlroy is looking forward to the have the team back together for the European Tour's flagship event and says last year's Ryder Cup victory will have a special place in history.

The United States were well placed going into the last day of the event in Illinois in September but the Europeans staged a remarkable comeback to pull off the win.

Olazabal says he's excited that the British public will get the chance to see the members of the Ryder Cup team in action as individuals at Wentworth, on the outskirts of London.
