The police are investigating an armed robbery in Papatoetoe this afternoon - but do not know if anything was actually stolen.
They say two men confronted a security van making a delivery near the intersection of Great South and Shirley Roads, before running away.
The police say no one was injured.
They are interviewing one man, and trying to locate another.
