A Manawatu man missing for more than a week has been found alive in a hay barn at the foot of the Ruahine Ranges.
Search teams have been looking for Stephen Walker, of Bulls, since Sunday.
Police say a member of the public was alerted to a man in their barn by their dog, just after midday on Thursday who turned out to be Mr Walker.
Sergeant Andy Brooke said Mr Walker is responsive, but would undergo a medical assessment.
