A search for a teenager who went missing while swimming in a river in the Rangitikei district yesterday will resume this morning.

The young man was last seen swimming in the Rangitikei River at about 5.15pm, near the highway bridge just south of Bulls.
Police said the dive squad would assist in the search for the teenager today.
Family, police, a local jet-boater and the rescue helicopter were unable to find him last night.
