The New Zealand golfer Mark Brown is tied for 36th at the halfway stage of the European Tour's Portuguese Open.
Brown followed up his one under par 71 with a two-under 70 second round to be nine shots behind the leader, Spain's Carlos del Moral and Denmark's Thomas Bjorn, who both shot 65s.
A second straight par round of 72 wasn't enough for another New Zealander, Gareth Paddison - he's missed the cut.
