Academic examining links between NZ and Pacific mental health

A social anthropologist plans to research mental health in Pacific countries that have ties to New Zealand.

Associate professor Jacqui Leckie, who has just been named the 2018 JD Stout Fellow, told Sela Jane Hopgood she will look at the entanglement of indigenous Pacific cultures with New Zealand colonial health practices, policy and discourse.
