A pedestian is understood to be seriously injured in a crash in Rotorua.
Amohau Street was closed following the crash which involved a truck and a pedestrian, police said.
The crash happened about 6am on Wednesday near the intersection with Ranolf Street.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and motorists are asked to take alternative routes.
