Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has returned a negative rapid antigen Covid-19 test result.
Ardern is isolating in Wellington this week after partner Clarke Gayford tested positive at the weekend.
Yesterday Ardern told RNZ the family was doing fine.
"We're having the same experience that many New Zealanders have had over the course of the past three months ... so juggling a few things, but doing just fine," she said.
"He's okay, he's definitely crook, but he's doing okay. So far I'm fine, so we'll see how we go - as long as we stagger it so we can keep parenting we should be okay."
A rapid antigen test returned a negative result this morning.
If the prime minister does not test positive, her isolation period will end on 16 May, three days before Budget 2022 is delivered.
Ardern told Morning Report if she was not able to come out of isolation by Budget Day she would still be able to participate remotely, with the Minister of Finance Grant Robertson leading the announcements.
