Air New Zealand says it is closely examining its services to Tahiti due to its low performance level.
French Polynesian media reported earlier this month that Air New Zealand might stop its services to Tahiti, because the numbers do not add up.
An Air New Zealand spokesperson says it is unclear at this stage if they will keep the services, cut them down or drop out of the route all together.
The spokesperson says a decision will be made in the coming months.
