A section of Longlands Road in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, is closed following a serious crash that left one person with critical injuries.

Emergency Services were called to the two car collision near Te Aute Road at Midday.
Another person has moderate injuries.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
