"The fact that I am a woman, a wife, a mother and grandmother, sporting grey hair and a limp makes no difference to my work rate or job description. I pride myself in that regard."
Pig hunter Kim Swan had a chat with Country Life about what it takes to be a hunter.

With her battered Remington and trusty canines at her heels, Kim has scaled terrain with crutches keeping her steady.
She talks about the mental battle when hunting but also why she cannot give it up.
"Given the right opportunities we are all capable of remarkable things,’ she says.
"I was born into a family of outdoors adventurers, I learned to embrace nature and the natural world. Since then, there have been humps and hollows in life’s road but I am the kind of person to clutch the steering wheel, press down the accelerator and drive with a smile."
