Theresa May asks EU for 3-month Brexit delay

British Prime Minister Theresa May has written to the European Union to ask for a three month delay to Brexit. The UK is due to leave the EU on March the 29 - but Mrs May wants that to be postponed until June 30. She says in a letter to European Council President Donald Tusk she needs more time to get her withdrawal deal passed and ratified by Parliament.
