Police are looking for a 28-year-old man over a shooting in Hamilton on Sunday night.

They were called to a Fairfield address after phone calls about shots being fired there.
Detective Sergeant Terri Wilson said a man who was shot had surgery at Waikato Hospital and was recovering.
Officers were trying to find Te Aihurangi Edwards Tangiora, who is 175 centimetres tall, of medium to solid build, and often had a dark beard, he said.
Anyone who saw him should contact the police on 07 858-6200. They should not approach him.
