Emirates completes largest maintenance check
The airline firm, Emirates, says it has completed its largest maintenance check on an A380 airplane.
It said the check was completed with a rigorous test flight, before being put back into regular service, carrying passengers via Brisbane and Auckland.
Emirates said the work took 55 days.
Pushpay announced $2.7 million loss
Pushpay says its first-half net loss widened to $2.7 million from $600,000 in the same six months last year.
That was despite revenue for the six months ended September jumping to $1.6 million from $100,000.
The mobile services company, which is listed on NZX's alternative market, provides tools for secure messaging and financial transactions.
The chief executive, Chris Heaslip, said the company was investing in product development and building sales.
Mr Heaslip said he expected the company to break even on a cash flow basis but the company needed to continue to invest in growth.
NZ US Council appoints Simon Power
The NZ US Council has named the former National minister, Simon Power, as its chair.
It said the appointment of Mr Power followed the retirement of Sir James Bolger.
